Case Studies
Rivetz
Rivetz has been developed using an amalgamation of several complimentary services. By combining CakePHP as a web framework, Saasu as an CRM/Inventory/Sales ecommerce backend, Eway as a payment gateway and Flex to create a visually appealing user interface we were able to achieve a heavily customised and unique web solution. From a development perspective, by integrating with external service providers, especially Saasu, we were able to keep the web application refreshingly lightweight because these ecommerce tasks were in a sense “virtually outsourced”.
For customers we were able to deliver high security for their sensitive data (ie, credit cards, addresses) by externally storing their data in Saasu and payment processing in Eway who as large service providers can ensure far greater security over data.
Integration with Saasu was simple with an exposed REST API we were easily able to pass data back and forth between Rivetz and Saasu. Saasu’s sandbox environment for developers was a particularly useful service and helped reduced our time in development and testing. Customer service was prompt and helpful, specifically Kaz from the support team.
