Paying employees and invoicing clients for time based effort is planned as a new module is due mid to late 2008 and will provide via phased deliverables:
- Contract Register for service based contracts
- Link from the contract register to the supplier (the current business org) and their clients and the terms(rates, special conditions) and specific employees associated with the contract
- Reporting on the contract register and the linked entities
- Integration with the existing employee register
- Integration with the existing client register
- Integration with the existing Tags for tracking projects/jobs/locations
- Integration with the existing invoicing and accounts receivables management processes for time based billing using contact terms.
- Contract expiry and management reporting (full functionality mid 2008)
As part of this module, potentially not the initial release (and subject to client demand we may delay the release so these points are incorporated) we will include -
- Integration with the Employee Self Service module for specific industry time capture processes
- Integration with the Client Self Service module for time approval by clients including email notification to clients that approvals are outstanding (they must login to approve).
- Integration with advanced payroll so the supplying business only pays for time approved by the client.
