ESS - Employee Self Service (BETA)

The ability for employees to help themselves is an enormous efficiency driver for businesses. Saasu ESS is a special type of user access for all employees (particularly those not normally associated with accounting or bookkeeping or finance) to enter and track time for themselves using timesheets. They can then indirectly do time based billing, manage time based payroll and more. Subsequent releases will also enable them to raise service tickets for other departments within the firm as well as to manage their part of pay office and human resources department communication (such as reviews) and more.

The ESS option is available in packs of 10 ESS User licenses - one for each employee in your firm if you wish. Just tell us your want to sign up. Because the service is currently in beta, early subscribers will receive 15 months subscription for the price of 12.

Separate logins for each employee they can use from anywhere there is internet accessibility.

Logins are recorded in a central access log visible by standard (non-ESS) users (with sign-in log viewer access rights) so you can see who has logged in a who hasn’t recently.

Timesheets are recorded centrally so your human resources team or project billing team or whomever manages your timesheet process can check who has entered their sheet and who hasn’t at the end of each week (or month or other timesheeting period).

Employees can enter timesheets for themselves.

Timesheets can be used by standard (non-ESS) users (with invoicing access rights) to create invoices to client based on time entered.*

Timesheets can be used by standard (non-ESS) users (with payroll access rights) to create payroll items for employees and produce payslips.*

Timesheets can be used by advanced payroll (non-ESS) users (with appropriate access rights) to run payroll groups for large numbers (10s, 100s or thousands) of employees at a time based on the timesheets they enter and produce direct to bank payments electronically. This includes a pre-payment signoff process. *

Service case tickets for your firm can be entered by each employee. This enables work flow from employee to any person or department in your firm. Perhaps you want to provide a virtual feedback box for staff comments on how to improve your firm or record results from performance reviews with managers or to enable requests for information between departments and so much more.**

Signup for a Saasu ESS licence for each employee, you can then login to saasu and use the manage screens to add each of your employees as ESS enabled.***

Once an employee is enabled, check their access using the access rights control screen. Then tell them they are ready to go.
