Online sales of products or other standardised tangible goods usually called online stores or e-commerce is central to Saasu’s vision that all businesses are technology businesses. It is important to note that Saasu is a rapidly developing company so here we explain what we offer today (and what is left for you to do) and what we will be offering later in 2009.

What We Do Today

  • Automatically create the new customer record from your website in Saasu and also in common CRM’s such as Salesforce.com, SugarCRM and VoltCRM.
  • Check card details via a Payment Gateway connection. See supported Payment Gateways in our Connectors and Add-ons area.
  • After payment approval automatically create transactions in Saasu and email them a PDF Sales Invoice.
  • Saasu updates your inventory item stock availabilty so your website knows what stock is available for Sale.
  • If you drop-ship in your can also do some smart things to automatically order the stock from the supplier and have it shipped to your customer directly.
  • A choice of Saasu, Magento or Virtuemart Shopping Carts.
  • A range of third party bespoke connectors, applications and solutions developed by our Technical Partners found in on our Connectors and Add-ons area.*

What Is Left For You To Do?

To use Saasu for e-commerce today you need to decide:

  • Publishing: how you will promote your goods (publishing web pages with inventory names, prices, photos and details)?
  • Cart: what shopping cart you will provide for goods they select?
  • Settlement/Payment: what payment methods you will offer (Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Direct Deposit, Internet or Phone based)?
  • Integration: What method you will use to get completed sales into your Saasu file for bookkeeping/accounting?

Importance Of Multi Channel Selling & Saasu

There are also a range of fully integrated providers that you may prefer to use. It is important to remember that most integrated providers of e-commerce are NOT multi-channel. i.e. if you have multiple ways of selling your products you need to be aware that it is probably better to chose a multi-user, multi-channel system like Saasu.
