Saasu tracks contacts at two levels -
- the company (also called a firm or more broadly an organisation or contact org for short)
- the person (also call the contact person)
When you add a person you would normally click the plus button so that you can setup an org to associate them with. Once the org is setup, if there are other people there at the same org you want to enter, you only need to link to it, no need to add the org again.
This two level tracking is a simplified version of what bigger (and much more complicated) CRM and contact management systems do (like SAP and Salesforce.com) and enables us to give some of the benefits of those bigger systems (like total revenue or debt by org client and also integration to those bigger packages (we integrate with Salesforce.com for example).
