Entering Opening Balances for Employee Entitlements

To enter opening balances for employee entitlements

  1. Click on Add Payroll Entry in the Main Menu.
  2. Select the Employee from the Employee Pick List.
  3. Remove any default pay items of Wages and Salary, Deductions and Tax Withheld already set for the particular employee.
  4. Make sure Auto Calc is not ticked for Entitlements pay items.
  5. Enter the number of hours from the previous accounting system into the fields for each of the Entitlements.
  6. Your screen should now look the same as the following screen shot
  7. Click on Save and Close.
