What Are Industry Guides?
Saasu can be used across many different industry segments in a generic way. To tailor it for your type of business we recommend you use some of these resources as a reference to get started quickly in your industry.
Chart of Accounts for your Industry
The Chart of Accounts (Accounts + Bank Accounts) is the heart of how your financial record keeping works. Think of it as the framework (or filing system labels) for how you want to classify the information. It is made up of transaction Accounts and Bank Accounts
Step 1.
Choose a sample Chart of Accounts for your industry (it will download to your PC desktop) -
Step 2.
Import your new Chart of Accounts by clicking Accounts in the main menu and then use the Import link.
Notes
All the files above are in CSV (Comma separated file format), so make sure you select that format on the import screen, you can also view or edit them in most normal spreadsheet programs but that is not necessary, just upload it to Saasu and start entering transactions. Later if you wish you can fine tune to your liking by adding more or changing existing using the Accounts link in the Main Menu to bring up an editable list of Accounts.
