Examples include platform specific (e.g Mac, Mobile Phone, iTouch, iPhone, iPod) or industry specific plug-in implementations for -
- Contact/address book sync
- Collecting time sheets
- Point Of Sale extensions
- Industry specific extensions such as specialist inventory management
- Data conversion tools
Benefits
- Saasu will promote your company and your plug-in product on the saasu plug-in and saasu partners directory. Selected products will also be added to saasbay.com.
- Once you have a working plug-in we will review it and provide feedback to help you optimise, secure, promote and distribute it.
- For the best plug-in products we will promote them in other channels including our newsletter, our simplify life blog and selected special saasu and industry events
- All the other usual partner benefits (including initial referral revenue for new sales).
Your Responsibilities (pre-conditions to becoming a plug-in partner) are
- Agreeing to the normal client and partners terms
- Tell us what link you would like us to use to send prospective users to your web site page where they can download the plug-in. This is usually your company web site or blog. You should also provide us a with a profile on your company or yourself and the plug-in including benefits and all known bugs/issues/limitations.
- Sending us the latest copy of the plugin source code and executable for all platforms for review before you issue any new releases to other parties.
- Agreeing to withdraw any plug-ins from sale immediately on written request from us in the event (for example if we consider them to be risk to our brand or to our customer’s data security)
- Agreeing that you grant us (Saasu) a perpetual unlimited licence for the use or distribution of the plug-in and all future versions in any form or for any purpose we see fit (including but not limited to modifying it to correct bugs or other issues you have not addressed). If we exercise this right we will provide you with initial referral revenue for new sales at our standard rates applicable at the time for a period of not less than one year less any support or promotional costs associated with such sales.
