Works Everywhere
Saasu works out-of-the-box with Macs, PCs and other mobile devices. You just need an Internet connection, and a common web browser (most of these are free see below). If you want to view ready-to-print invoices, statements and other correspondence you also need Adobe Acrobat Reader (it is free too).

Notes
- Your computer is like your car, it is good practice to keep it tuned up and you will be safer and more efficient for doing so. So keep your personal computer up to date with security patches, operating system versions and updates from the people who make it. If your system is not up to date, it is often not operating optimally in terms of performance and security.
- Demanding users such as large businesses simply have more information to manage (e.g. employees, invoices, payroll, inventory items) as a result they will benefit from more memory on their PC, we recommend 1-2G of RAM at least and even more for regular or heavy users (or users with other software being actively used at the same time as our products). Consult your local IT specialist for hardware advice, it is not something that saasu support formally (although we always try to help).
- Internet connections can be complex things if you are sharing your link to the Internet with other people it is your responsibility to ensure that your network and Internet access is sufficient. If you are not sharing your link with anyone and you suspect that is the problem then check the facts with your Internet service provider.

Old Technologies We No Longer Support
Here at Saasu we have to find a constant balance between -
- Supporting all the platforms out there and
- Working really well on 90-99% of platforms and making the most of those platforms for most of our users
It is a classic ‘greater good’ argument. We could spend a lot of time making it work on all platforms but often that means substantial cost and delays which ultimately needs to be passed on to you the subscriber.
So our policy is very clear. If a technology or platform meets these criteria it may not be supported -
- Old technology (usually more than 3 years at a minimum) and /or
- Unpopular technology - being used by less than 3% of the audience and/or
- Experiencing a migration trend away from it that is sustained for a period of more than 3 months and/or
- Alternative technology upgrades are widely available and not dramatically difficult or expensive for the average customer
So, we don’t support the following list of technologies. If you have it, we suggest you upgrade,
- Small screens of 800×600 resolution or less - they are less than 1% of our traffic in Q4 2007 (and falling steadily) plus there is evidence to support the view all four of the above criteria are being met. This means Saasu still works on these screens but users will experience some inconvenience such as horizontal scrolling on some screens. This is intended to maximise the experience for the other 97-99% of users.
