What Is The SaaS Ecosystem?

SaaS stands for software-as-a-service, it means instead of buying, installing, upgrading and otherwise managing your business system, it is delivered purely online via the internet.
The SaaS Ecosystem is a collection of SaaS systems - particularly business systems - that talk to each other.

Of course they don’t talk like humans but they do talk - using web based languages or protocols also referred to as web services.

What Is Saasu Doing In The SaaS Ecosystem ?

We aim to enable it even more. To be an anchor point in SaaS.

We are already an important part of the SaaS ecosystem because we hold key business and accounting information for thousands of businesses and have done for many years. Today this is even more important because the power of other complementary businesses can leverage our skills and we can leverage theirs by having our systems talk to each other.

This means our mutual clients get more features and more benefits today.

We have three types of work in this area -

  1. Public - these are product features that have been finished and are released to clients, search our blog for ’salesforce.com’ or ‘88miles.net’ or ‘campaigmonitor.com’ and you will get a taste for how we can talk to those services today.
  2. Semi-public - these area new product features in the saasu labs that we are developing or going into beta testing
  3. Confidential - these are strategic developments that we are not prepared to discuss just yet but we are accepting new proposals from global 100% pure SaaS providers of horizontal services.

We will be launching a more cohesive service for helping you manage your SaaS relationships under the saasecosystem.com brand in the future too.
