2017 Spring update for Saasu Online Accounting

November 22nd, 2017 by Marc Lehmann

The team has been building what we call our EPIC project for 2017. It's the big project we do each year that is often a first to market feature or an upgrade initiative for Saasu. This year it has been the ability for you to offer your customers the ability to securely store their credit card for pre-authorised recurring credit card payments. It's built into Saasu. No third party recurring debit or credit card provider add-on is required to sit between Saasu and your payments provider.

This project is expected to go live in the first week of December, initially supporting the payments provider Stripe. Over the last couple of months we have had a small number of customers beta testing the feature. We will also be releasing two reports for tracking Pre-authorisations (Opt in's) by your customers for recurring credit card charges and also Failed Credit Card Payments (so you know who to chase up).

Lots of ongoing improvements

Saasu averages at least one release per week which allows us to roll out lots of small improvements to reduce the impact on your work-life. Our main game has been building the Recurring Credit Card payments but here is a list of bug fixes and enhancements that have found there way into Saasu during Spring.
