Saasu, an Australian made and designed online accounting software business has been sold to OWNA, the makers of emerging workforce management platform erly WORKR & established childcare management software, for an undisclosed price.
Saasu’s shareholder group felt unanimously that after 22 years it was time to exit and allow Saasu to grow and develop under the guidance of another great Australian business with closely aligned values.
Marc Lehmann, Saasu’s Founder and CEO said, “We are pleased to have found the right home for Saasu. Our primary concern was continuity of service for our customers, full staff retention and accelerated development of Saasu capabilities. We also wanted an Australian owner as we strongly believe that local knowledge serves our customers interests best. We are so happy to have found that in our acquirer.”

Saasu was founded to help remove cashflow fear, accounting and workflow stress from business owners. The importance of having an acquirer who believed in working to continue solving these problems is good news for our customers.

OWNA will gain a valuable and additive new subscriber base to complement their successful Childcare Centre Services customer base. This coupled with a larger engineering team will further enhance the proprietary accounting and workplace technologies.
Marc Lehmann, will stay on and assist the business to ensure continuity of service for Saasu customers and later in a more advisory capacity.
Like Saasu, OWNA is also a profitable business, Sydney based and mature in its development.
